Early Saturday Morning Thoughts
It’s a quiet Saturday morning and I’ve been awake since 5:30 AM. I turned in early last night as I was tired from last week’s round of activities. Now, I have a full weekend ahead of me.
This morning, I plan to catch some Lakers-TWolves playoff action. The game starts at around 9 AM and I really hope that the Lakers nab this one! It’s too bad I can only watch the first quarter and a half as I have to go to the iAyala office for a meeting with my colleagues from PinoyExchange.
Speaking of PinoyExchange, sometimes I scratch my head over what the prospects are for that company. There are occasions when I feel that PinoyExchange is about to break out of its shell to finally earn a ton of money. There are also those days when I wonder when it will ever hit its full potential. Success in the short term would mean that the team is able to proliferate the brand while keeping the company cash flow positive. The ton of money promise may be a few corners away.
Business wise, I had a great week! Our traffic in the Telecoms increased by 20 percent over a span of 3 days! Success comes with a lot of very high expectations though. The Telecom companies have revised our revenue targets several times to reflect our success. I hope we can continue to exceed all of these lofty expectations set out for us.
Moving on to other thoughts, my wedding is just a couple of weeks away. I don’t feel stressed at all about this event. I just want to be married already. For me, the wedding is just a nice celebration to announce to the world that Maita and I are a couple. I just want to be with Maita all the time.

May 10 Post
Sleepy Day!
Today was a very lazy day for me. I could sum up my day's activities in 3 words -- TV, PC, and SLEEPY. Ha Ha! I just tried to make it rhyme.
Seriously though, I watched more hours of TV today and yesterday than I have over the past 2 weeks. I watched 2 NBA Games -- Nets vs. Pistons and Lakers vs. Spurs --, I watched a Marathon series of Survivor All-Star Episodes, and I caught some election tv coverage. The rest of my day was spent napping ang playing some PC Games.
I plan to put in some work tonight. I feel guilty when a day passes and I haven't been able to pump in some work hours. I always have this feeling that someone, somewhere, is getting ahead of me.
I just finished my cross sell plan for tomorrow's set of services. I responded to some emails as well, most of them being work related. I plan to read up on a rival company's products as I will be meeting with them tomorrow to discuss a possible purchase.
So lately, I've been on a bit of a buying binge. I just closed a deal with my former company to buy back an asset which they had invested into. My company, Xurpas, is also in heavy discussions with another company to buy a majority of their shares. I am quite bullish about this oppotunity and I really hope that the deal materializes. I hope to pirate another person from another competing wireless company to run the new investment if everything pushes through. That way, we get 2 wireless companies for the price of 1!
Oh well, I am keeping my fingers crossed. May looks to be an exciting month for me, with all of the business opportunities that are present and the wedding preparations that are taking place. April was a pretty dull month and I am happy that things have turned around.

My first Blog Entry
Oh wow, my first ever Blog Entry!!!
I've been fascinated about blogging for a long time now and I have always wanted to have my own Blog Site. I am not unfamiliar about web self publication, especially since I helped start the Philippines' largest online community, PinoyExchange. However, Web Blogs seem to be different. Blogs feel more personal and isolated than message boards. My entries may never be read and I don't really expect much participation.
Time will tell if Web Blogs will ever fit my lifestyle.
